is there any specific software that can scan my computer and recommend the best software upgrades as well as hardware too?? Instead of going and see a technician??

I have scanned with all three of these programs/services, and they pick up nothing. The problem I am having is that anytime I do a yahoo or google search and click on a link on the results page I get taken to a different site than what I am supposed to. Are there any other programs I can try? Would it work to uninstall IE7 and reinstall it?

I'm looking for a computer program that once you login it starts a countdown clock and only gives you say an hour to work on a computer? I think I've seen them on library computers. I want to install this on my home computer to monitor the time allowed on the computer for the kids. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I want to find duplicates in the list by using Conditional Formatting with a Countif function but I need to remove the periods (....) in front of each part number before I run the formatting and I don't want to have to go into each cell and remove them manually but don't know any other way to do it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I run windows xp on a AMD athalon processor. I need a good software program that will do it all everything from burning and ripping cd's, transfering mp3's to my mp3 player, orgainizing my media library, and coping cd's. I've tried using window's media player and i'm just completely fed up with it, and all the other programs that I have look like Fred Flintstone designed them. Help please!!!!

I downloaded NHL 07 by Utorrent. I have installed the game on my laptop and mounted it using Daemon Tools. Then, I went into the Crack file and copied the application which I have paste in the NHL 07 folder of the in programme files (where the game is).

I have done this before with other games and the worked fine. This time though, when I try to play the game it ask me to put the CD of the game in the drive (normally it shouldn't). It seems that the game is properly installed and mounted. I don't understand why the game won't play.

Please help me out. What should I do next?

Don't seem to be able to download Flash Player and get it to work. After trying the download it tells me that it has been successfully installed. However, it doesn't work. Have looked at various suggestions but all seem to lead back to the download page - and back to square one. Another suggestion was to use Firefox. I am quite happy using I.E. and Maxthon browsers so I need further advice or perhaps a viable alternative to flash that will work on XP SP1 & 2. Thanks for your help.

I just upgraded to XP Home edition. I tried a system backup. It asked for 15 CDs. Now 15X700MB, that is 10,500MB! Is that normal?
Is there a 'compressed' option I could use for backing up? Will appreciate for any infomation.

My pc takes ages to start because it opens programs that I rarely use,like msn messenger.I don't want to remove them completely just stop them from opening automatically.I presume I have to remove them from the start menu,but don't know how to do it.Thanks
