my friend recently sent me a card which she made and designed on her computer. it's great and i'd like to have a go. i'm not the most creative of people or the most brilliant on the computer but would appreciate some advice on what software to get to enable me to have a go and have some fun!

Thanks

If you have Microsoft Publisher, check out the templates for greetings cards, they are very easy to follow and you can have the computer automatically create a card for you or design your own. Publisher often comes with Microsoft Office or can be bought separately and fairly cheaply from ebay.

That depends on how much you want to spend?
Are they just for you?
Do you plan on getting them printed on a printing press (not a $40 desktop inkjet)?

The cheapest way is to get something like greeting card designer.
I think it can be found at like Wal-Mart.
And I think you can then print them out on your desktop inkjet printer.

Or, at the other end of the scale (the expensive side), you can get real design software, such as Adobes Creative Suite.
This will get you professional looking cards.
