I downloaded NHL 07 by Utorrent. I have installed the game on my laptop and mounted it using Daemon Tools. Then, I went into the Crack file and copied the application which I have paste in the NHL 07 folder of the in programme files (where the game is).

I have done this before with other games and the worked fine. This time though, when I try to play the game it ask me to put the CD of the game in the drive (normally it shouldn't). It seems that the game is properly installed and mounted. I don't understand why the game won't play.

Please help me out. What should I do next?

It's rare but every so often they screw up and include a crack meant for a recently released update patch. Try patching to the latest version and match it up with a matched exe crack. (you might have to reinstall to original to get the update patch to work)

The version I downloaded for that game was a dvd image. Somewhere around 1.5GB. I suppose it's also possible the mounted image isn't being recognized correctly. Do you have other issues mounting dvd images with your version of daemon? You could try poking around for a 'no cd' crack. Or if you have a dvd burner try burning the disc and running from the tray.

Although most of the answers are generally correct, that it is illegal. There is some confusion and misinformation being spread around the internet. There is no 24 hour window that you can have an illegal copy of anything. If you download a copy of something with a copyright associated with it, it's illegal the moment you download. The *only* thing that makes a copy legal is if you physically do it your self from an original source and you use that copy as a back up only. Both copies must be yours. you cannot redistribute them etc.

Hey, Downloading games from the internet or p2p is one of the worst things you could do to just download a game. You never know what is in the game, as the hosts of your download could have renamed a completely different application. Just spend some money. If you want, go to like a second-hand game shop. They sell really cheap games that are real good. You might be thinking, second hand-not good, but the thing is you know they are previously used-bought from a trusted retailer, and when they trade it in, its quality is assured. I can get u a NHL 07 game that looks like brand new, but is second hand later on in the year when people sell'em and wait for 08 for $15.95
