I have scanned with all three of these programs/services, and they pick up nothing. The problem I am having is that anytime I do a yahoo or google search and click on a link on the results page I get taken to a different site than what I am supposed to. Are there any other programs I can try? Would it work to uninstall IE7 and reinstall it?

Try using spybot search and destroy and lavasofte se personal...these two will find all spyware and get rid of it...windows defender never finds spyware the only thing it is useful for is letting you know when a program has been changed.

Hope that this helps you, and good luck!

Uninstalling may work, but there was a fairly big problem with IE7 when they released it. Make sure you have the patch / newest windows updates ect.
