I have Panda Platinum 2006 installed on my pc. Does anyone have this? and if so are you able to have ad aware also installed? or does it conflict? cause I dont feel panda is getting rid of all the spyware and malware on my pc...could this be possible?

Was working fine. Turned it on today and it booted to the BIOS screen, then hung up on the black screen with the blinking cursor. Will not boot the op system.

I've rebooted several times. No help.
I've tried booting with the WinXP full install disk. No help.
I've replaced the RAM. No help.
I've replaced the hard drive. No help.
I've replaced the PSU. No help.
I've disconnected all accessories (sound, floppy and CD drives). No help.

I assume it is a motherboard problem, but how can I know for sure? Anything else I should do to check this computer?

A friend of mine had all their Jpeg files get converted to a VBScript file and they dont know why. Their husband re-installed a piece of software and they dont know why it has converted all their JPEG files to VBScript Files.

Before the reinstillation everything was well with the files.

After the incident they saved new JPEG files to the Pc, swithced the PC off and then upon turning the PC back on the new files also converted to VBScript files.

Have they got a virus do you think?
Can they recover their Jpeg files?

i need to take urgent backup from a accounting software -tally 4.5 , but it ony writes backups on floppies , the path cannot be changed , its fixed i.e a:. also tally 4.5 runs only on dos or win98.!Is there is a way to fake a floppy drive so that software writes on the hdd . my backup data is of around 35 mb.please help me .

When I imported songs from a CD, it imported the songs out of order, skipping tracks 2 and 6, and played tracks 1, 3, 4, etc.. But those two songs that weren't exported were listed on the CD jacket. Is there any way to fix it, since it's not listed on my CD library? Have that ever happened to you?

hi there.

my sister bought a compac pc it came with windows xp home pre installed, and no disks, i down loaded a key viewer from cool beans and i found that the key on her pc was not the same as on the side of her base unit. so i take it that her pre installeed copy of xp has already been activated, because it is not asking to be activated and there is no product activation on the menu.

so i have a genuine xp home disk from hp, and was wondering if i could use her code that is no being used on my machine?

this cant be illegal? right?
