Note: Substitute your login name to XP where it says your_login_name (you can press ctrl+alt+del keys together to find out under what name you are logged on as)

1. Using Windows Explorer (right-click on start button - explore) and open the folder c:\documents and settings\your_login_name\start menu

2. Right click on the right-half of the screen, New - shortcut
3. Click browse and navigate to c:\documents and settings\your_login_name\my documents\
4. Click once to highlight my pictures folder, click OK.
5. Click Next, then click Finish.

You will have 'My Pictures' icon on your Start Menu now.
