when writing an email or, now (this is the first it has happened, here), using an apostrophe causes the "find" bar, at the bottom of firefox, to pop up, and it prevents me from using contractions (and, one would expect, the genitive). wtf?! more importantly - how do i stop it? VERY ANNOYING. it often prevents me from cutting and pasting, as well.

Specifically, I'd like to know if there's free ware that will let me convert .ram (realmedia) files to MP3. I tried shareware, but of course only so much of the file is soncverted and unplayable after that.

Let say i got this sentence to type in excel " i am a boy". how do i make it into

I

boy

in 1 column.

If in microsoft word's table i would just have to press "enter". How about in excel??

Here's a tricky problem that i hope someone out there can help me correct on my pc. I recently (accidentally, while looking for the Recovery Console on the Windows Xp cd) re-installed Windows Xp 2003 over the top of itself (not what i would normally suggest anyone do! lol) and now, for some unknown reason (other that i've gone and stuffed things up i guess.... lol), it keeps trying to install the Msoft Windows 3.1 Installer. I accepted and installed a few times and rebooted even (yes, ok so i'm not so bright either LOL) and it still persists so i've hid the icon so it doesn't show up in systray.

Anyway, does anyone know how i can fix this problem and tell the computer that i already have installed this Installer so that i can continue to get updates automatically? I'd be most grateful for any advice and knowledge that any of you more experienced computer users can pass on.

Please! Someone help me! I have a lot of Saved files on a LOT of CDS! When I try to erase the files, it says that the file is read only! When I try chnging it, it wont and wont let me erase anything! When I click on restore for my ipod on itunes, it says ipod is restored but within a few minutes later it says ipod is in recovery mode and needs to be restored again. What do I do? Also on my ipod it says use itunes to restore and I have tried to use itunes to restore but it doesn't. Please help me.

i was just installin a new copy of Win XP.

Wen it prompt to type the product Key,

i realised that i lost the package.
Noway to find the product key and continue the
installation.

im stuck as i cant progress or cancel.

I deleted all files and foders as im doin

a new installation.

wat do i do?

is there any way i can retreive the key

and complete the intallation?
