Forgot Administrator Password, need help?

i have lost my administrator password what can i do now iam logging from my brothers account can anyone help me

mine Had Admin Rights.....Bro is Limited Account.

you can solve this problem if your brother have also the administrator account type just follow the steps

after logging your brother account you would able to change your adminstrator password through the command prompt


To view all of the user accounts:
type in cmd "net users"

To change an account password:
1) While logged onto the computer to an account that has administrative rights, click on Start>Run>and type in CMD.
2) Type in net user then the name of the account then * and press enter. heres an example: net user administrator * or net user "Joe Smith" * . Put the name in quotes if it contains spaces.
3) From there it should ask for a new password.

Is your bro's account with administrator rights?

Try to do this.
1. Click Start--> Run
2. type Control userpasswords2
3. There you will see the list of accounts on that pc.
4. Can choose to reset or change any account password.

What operating system? There are some boot utilities that can recover that...

If your brother's account has administrator privileges, you can reset the password. Otherwise, take some Ginko-Biloba and meditate, grasshopper...
