i am looking for a job. i have mirosoft works on my computer. most positions that i am interested in, want me to have a working knowledege of microsoft office. is there a big difference between the two programs?
i know how to use works.

I have presentation that is developed in Lotus Freelance Graphics, but i dont have tha freelance graphics software to run it. Please let me know the source where i can download it from for free.
I am a student and i have to present it on sep 9.

trying to work out a system where I can keep track of about 800 clients under various fields, and contacting them on a daily basis, and finding them quickly to update. fields would include...name, address, phone numbers, etc I want to be able to click on one name and it then brings up more info on that client such as recent contact. And to be able to sort through the entire list for dates etrc

when I checked it after the upgrade was put in it read 610 mb. But now it is reading 352 mb. In just 2 day's. What could be wrong?

When I save the scan to a file and then try to print, the print comes out so enlarged on the printed page that I can see only about 30 % of the whole scanned image. It never did this before and images used to come out beautiful. So I must have touched something I shouldn't have. I don't know if this is a hardware or software problem. Any suggestions are welcome. I am thinking about purchasing a voice recognition software, and I will probably have to modify my computer somewhat. My wife's handicap demands that I find a way around a standard keyboard. But will Dragon software Naturally Speaking do the job?

There has to be some way that eBay is making money off of Skype. And if they're not making money on it right now, is it free because they INTEND to charge for it later on once enough people have hooked on? OK. I go to www.java.com. I say download, begin download, and the yellow bar appears. It says "This site might require the following ActiveX Control: 'J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 6' from 'Sun Microsystems, Inc.'. Click here to install..." When I click and say "Install ActiveX Control, it opens an "Install-don't install" window. I click Install.Then it downloads "windows installer 2.0". Afterit does, a window pops up that says "abort Java(TM) Installer" on the top. The text is, " To restart the Java(TM) installer,please refresh the web page. Of course, I've tried that, but the same thing comes up every time! What should I do?

I have lost my graphics that appear on Yahoo, i.e. the yahoo logo, pictures, even on the answers, there are no icons for the ratings, etc... It seems that the browser is dropping all the graphics. I updated, uninstalled, re-updated and even tried an older Firefox version. I love Firefox and continue to use it, but I miss all the graphics. Does anyone know how to fix this? Oddly, if I open IE, I have all the graphics back, but I don't want to use IE. Help!

The 32 bit versions on windows install fine. I have a dual core Athlon 64 4400 x2 processor using a 250GB IDE hard drive with a
gigabyte motherboard. I tested the ram and even tried with only 1GB stick. I get the Blue screen error. Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL everytime I try to Install any 64 bit version of 64 server or 64 xp. Any ideas ? Thanks.

I had a little bit of problem with my Itunes today. So far I've importing 71 CDs (805 songs). At the last one for today, it didn't load the CD and the screen went blue. I called the Apple Store and Apple twice for this problem. I had to reinstall everything again and got everything back. But I've been told that it wasn't supposed to happen, when the HD misread the memory and claimed it was full. I should be fine and that should've happened when it was around 1500. Have that happened to you? I've had to ask the Apple Store next week for my Apple Pro Care class about that next week and stop Itunes importing for the next five days.

Who has a computer running a program called CTFMON.EXE? It was installed with a windows update a while back and I was wondering who still has it running or if any one uses the program. If your unsure hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and check your processes.
THIS PROGAM DOES NOT APPEAR AS AN APPLICATION. IT ONLY APPEARS IN PROCESSES.
