Probably forever:(. Your going to have to either try to log on or re-install your OS. With Windows, you should have two accounts.
1. Admin account - Use this account only when you install programs or give permissions to folders or files. If you get a virus in this mode, the virus can have all the admin permissions and could destroy or delete system files.
2. User account - use for everyday use. When you create an user account, don't give it admin rights or you could be open up to some nasty viruses.

The best solution is to get a mac. Apple came out with some new kick butt iMacs. Check them out at www.apple.com

Intill you get a password crack, and bypass the admin account.

enter to the computer in safe mode log in as admin if you can then edit your account
