Ok I want to Rip video from a dvd onto my computer. But everyone says that you have to have the right software to do that. But I went on a site that said that some of the newer computers already have it in them. Does anyone know if thats true? and if it is how can I find out how to use mine if i have one. And If its not true then can anyone tell me whats the cheapest software to get so I can Rip dvd's to my computer? Thanx.

We have a Dos based accounting program that we are replacing with a Windpws based program. We need to convert our inventory and customer lookups in .csv in order to transfer them into the new program.

It often happens that the cd in the drive refuses to play the movie,so I try to copy it to the hdd(hard disk)& then read it.But as the copying proceeds the cd just rotates and no further action occur.How can I play the so far copied file(which often nears 600mb)?

I bought my computer through a friend. it is refurbished I have now discovered the windows xp is NOT genuine on it, which isn't too much of a problem for me but now when my computer starts up a warning page comes up telling me 'THIS WINDOWS IS NOT GENUINE' also warning bubbles appear while using my comp. there is a W.G.A symbol on the bott right of the screen. I have searched for the file on my comp to no-avail to try and remove it. does anyone know how to remove it?

I receive my emails from freinds and family pictures or jokes, or trips, family occations. I would like to open them, howeve it always asks if I want to down load or save them to the computer. I really don't want to do either. I would just like to keep it in my email file. Please help with tis.
