Ok I want to Rip video from a dvd onto my computer. But everyone says that you have to have the right software to do that. But I went on a site that said that some of the newer computers already have it in them. Does anyone know if thats true? and if it is how can I find out how to use mine if i have one. And If its not true then can anyone tell me whats the cheapest software to get so I can Rip dvd's to my computer? Thanx.

It's not true. Don't go to walmart, go to slysoft.com!

AnyDVD + CloneDVD is probably the cheapest methods of backing up your dvds. Or if you wanna save some money use AnyDVD + DVD Shrink. AnyDVD is probably the best program out there in terms of constant updates to decrypt new dvds.

Only backup DVD's you OWN!!!! Any other use is very illegal. Heed the copyright notices...
