most cost about 100-200, but adobe goes up to 700-800 area. why's it that big a difference?

I have 2 computers in my house. This one has windows 98 which is okay. The one in my bedroom has windowsXP which I like. I have only one phone line and it was given to me. I went to do the recovery and didn't realize that they don't have the XP cd in all the material. So now it won't go into windows as I have nothing. Is there a sight that that I can download windowsXP recovery/reinstall to a cd or disk on this computer. Free if possible. Or am I gonna have to buy the XP at store and load it? I was trying to wipe all off of it and start fresh.

Please use very simple instructions, as I am over 40 and so technologically challenged. Believe it or not, computers were only on Star Trek when I was growing up. My high school library used the Dewey decimal system and card catalogs. But I digress. I really need to convert these MP3 files to CD format but I don't know how. And my teenagers are disdainful and will not help me. LOL they told me to go online and find out for myself.

i am planning to update my bios, but when i read my motherboard manual it says...wrong or incorrect update may result to system failure or malfunction... question: if i update my bios and installed the incorrect bios how can i go back to my previous bios?
is there a way to go back to previous bios? how?

i know that im erasing my motherboards flash memory, so im very cautious... i would end up replacing it, if ive made a mistake...

I have a main movie stage with a navigation function that calls different .swf files as loadMovie ("file.swf", 1) so on and so forth. My question is, "How do I call a flash file and place under the main file with the navigation so it runs under its graphics?" Here's an example. http://www.manmetropolis.com/vivelatino/index-flash.htm When it loads you should see a navigation on top. "Artistas" is the first button in the navigation. I want to load graphics that will appear under the curtains. The problem is when I call a file it loads on top of the MAIN FILE!

hey. ive got experience burning movies. but thats only one item. my question is like when your copying a season of a show or like anime where its more than one episode on a disc, how many episodes normally fit on a disc and how do you place them? id prefer to know from someone who uses dvd shrink, cuz thats what i have. normally, i just click main movie and thats all i place on the disc, so i know how to do that. how does the layout differ when its a season of a show instead of just one movie? would you click and drag like episode by episode, like 'main episode 1' and 'main episode 2' and put them on the disc? just need some advice doin that with dvd shrink, thanks

I am trying to reformat my hard drive using windows xp. After I select format using NTFS (quick), it starts to load the set up files. I keep getting an error during this load saying that Windows couldn't load some of the files correctly. Why is this happening and what can I do to proceed?

Ok, Im online because Firefox will run and IE wont because of trojans and viruses. I downloaded removers and my PC is still jacked up, some scans took 27 hours and didnt fix anything. Slow PC, programs dont open, slow everything. AntiVir Guard, Ad-Aware SE personal, BitDefender, all those microsoft scaners, Norton, nothing is helping me, I cant even reinstall windows because my version of XP is higher then the XP on the disc. Mcfree and Symantic arent helping at all, I have so many files and programs on my PC, can someone give me a real program to fix my PC, please and thank you?

Messenger will let me sign in, then immediately boots me off, with the message, "you have been signed out because you signed in on a different computer or device". No, I haven't, and this is getting frustrating. Firewall has been checked, acess has been allowed. PLEASE! HELP!

I am the only person in my home that uses Messenger, so no one else is in. I don't have computers networked together, and it won't let me in for long enough to change my password.

More info: My footnote is inserted on page 17, and at the bottom of page 17, I see the first line of my footnote, but the remaining 3 lines of footnote text are at the bottom of page 18. This is happening several times in my document, but not everytime. Some footnotes that are longer than this one are having no problem.

Anything you can recommend will be helpful. Thank you in advance!

I have a Ubuntu Version 6.06 LTS for Mac. I can't get the mac to boot from the cd drive,also I can't get to the mac desktop because it has Kid Desk School Version 1.0 on it and I can't get out of it to get back to the desktop to access the CD drive. Hope someone can help me.
