I need to write a paper in the next couple of days and my computer when i first got it had a 60 day trial for the micro. word doc. software 2003 and that trial ended about a couple months ago. I am trying to download the trial agian but it is not working. why? What else can i do?

go to download.com and download another word processing software that should be free- cut and paste what you have- insert and start over

What happens is the trial has left something on your computer (probably in the registry) that tells the PC that the trial has already been used and shouldn't be used again.

If you are going to print out the paper yourself (not at school or work), and you have a high speed connection, you could download and install OpenOffice. It's a free replacement for Microsoft Office.

Usually the trial is only able to be used once. I don't know how they know if delete and download a new trial, but what good would a temporary trial be if you could just keep downloading it and never have to buy the software.

Go to the site below to access the beta version of the new office 2007 software. In effect, you get the full office suite until february. The only catch is a $1.50 "cost recovery" fee that microsoft is charging. Word 2007 works great; don't worry about the "beta" version being unstable.

The trial won't work twice. So= you either need to buy the program, steal it (i.e. borrow the disk from a friend), or download another word processing program.

if u have any form of micro office (98 preferred), u should be able to access the word. contact microsoft help. or go to windows live spaces.com go to computerhelpgroups
