When backing up DVD's, how to I burn only the actual video and NOT the special features onto another disc to conserve space?

Every so often while I am using my computer, a message from Windows Defender comes up saying it has detected changes and the changes are as follows:

System Configuration Change and the detected change is:

Enabled Windows Media Format SDK (IEXPLORE.EXE)
and something about a firewall port that says:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\GloballyOpenPorts\List\\3029:UDP as it's location.

This problem occurs every so often and I keep allowing seeing it is a Windows Media format being enabled, but it keeps coming back. How do I stop it from doing this and what does this message really mean?

I want to create a web folder so that I can open a set of files off of a web server using Microsoft FrontPage 2002. I run FrontPage 2000 at home and know how to do it in there, but 2002 is totally different to me. How do I acomplish this either in Windows XP or Microsoft FrontPage 2002?

I use Xemacs editor for Mac OS X. I can do everything else with the keyboard, but I'm not able to find a shortcut that does copy.

Paste is ctrl+y and Cut is ctrl+w, but copy??

I have a win 98. when i scan for updates it says ms. Net Framework version 1.1........this is a single user computer,an old one too,,,,,lol,,,,1997....do i need this microsoft Net Framework?or is that for a network of computers.....it says 23.5megabytes......thats alot.............thank you guys

Somebody please help me, I want to take pictures of some scenes from a avi movie that I recently downloaded. Maybe I need a certain software, I have tried a few such as Snag it but they are very hard to use. Could anyone recommend me a easier software? Thanks for your help in advance.

Im trying to copy a dvd and then burn a copy onto a blank dvdr. I have downloaded a dvd decrypter, nero and dvd shrink but i cant get it to copy. the dvd plays fine in my dvd player and on my pc but when i copy it gets stuck at a certain bit and gives read errors. The disk looks clean and i dont see any deep scratches on it. does anyone know what i can do to fix this as its driving me mental lol

ok ..i have tried pop-blocker softwares likes yahoo,google and i even download it from couples of websites (and i turn them on) but still tht pop-up windows appear again.

Anyone know where I can get a free program to copy DVD movies to WMV or AVI or MPEG format? It needs to work with copy protected movies. Just so you know too, I am not doing anything illegal. I want it so I can rip the trailers off my own personal dvds at home and store them in a personal database I have setup.

I had Windows XP Pro SP2 but it was in Italian and there is no way I could change it. I copied from a friend his Windows XP Pro SP2 English disc and installed it but I tried to use MY serial key but it didn't work because I've used it too many times. I didn't know that you could renew it for free so I sold my labtop to my friend (had the serial key on it) and used a crack to activate my Windows XP. I turned on Automatic Updates and it says it updates but when I go to Windows Update it says my Windows XP isn't genuine but Auto. Updates is apparently working? Is it working or going to make my comp not work anymore? I'm scared to restart.
