CCleaner is a good program. You can go to http://www.ccleaner.com/ to Download it or to Download.com and search for ccleaner. Program works great, as I use it all the time.

There are many free registry cleaner. Unfortunately, they are not on to par with the commerical cleaners. But, here are some decent free registry cleaners: EasyCleaner, CCleaner, Regseeker and JV Power Tools. There is a great review article on registry cleaners written by Fred Langa of InformationWeek.com. (see the link below). All of the before mentioned applications, with the exception of JV PowerTools can be found on www.download.com or betanews.com. Pricelessware.com has the last free version of JV Power Tools. The best commercial application I have tried is TuneUp Utilities 2006. I hope this helps.

Wow, I'd like to thank dinuksw for the honorable mention there. And not only that, he's correct, CCleaner is an excellent program. http://www.ccleaner.com/ and please, pick dinuksw as best answer because he did, in fact, have the correct answer first.
