my comuter has a lot of viruses.
is there any programs that have free trials.
or a way i can get the viruses offf.
help please.

I have a laptop running Windows XP SP2, and as of late it has started to develop an unusual problem upon startup. What happens is during start up, some of the programs set to run at start up will not start up. And I can't even get these programs to run after this even if I try to manually start them up.

This problem started a few weeks backs and would occasionally happen at start up, but could usually be corrected by just restarting again. Eventually it started occuring more frequently and now it happens every time i start up.

The programs that will not start up are AOL Instant Messanger, WinPatrol, and Norton Antivirus Corporate(which I uninstalled to no avail). These are the only 3 I've noticed and none will start up when this happens.

Anyone ever seen this problem? Does it sound like a virus problem?

I want to do yoga because i am very stressed out and i am hoping this will work. I am interested in more flexibility and other things htta yoga provides. I don't have nay money. iw ant tot take care of this without my parents knowing or else my mom will tkae me to the hospital. Don't want that. plz any good websites? preferably diagrams bc my internet is slow.

my computer memory has lots of viruses i have downloaded avast on to it and it is now scaning and eliminating all the virus it finds its been on for hours will this be effective enough to sort it out, if not what other options do you suggest. I have windows ex p on disc if needs be or if its the only option to re format my computer,as im no expert i really hope i dont need to do this and cant really afford to take it to a shop this moment in time,i would be really greatful for your advice as my computer is is so slow i feel like throwing it across the room lol

how can my computer be attacked from the internet if i dont leave the internet on ??
a popup from my antivirus program says it has succesfully repelled it but how can it repell it if the internets not on ????

All right, I know what this is for, but no matter what I do, even deleting it more than 50 times a day, it doesn't ever get out of my system. Plus, it ALWAYS arrives at a fixed time, around 7-8 P.M. and then after a few hours.. poof.. it vanishes on its own. Not to mention that it really bugs me that it writes random characters every time it appears (to be exact EVERY MINUTE). And it regenerates, don't know how, but I've done every obvious things like deleting all affected files at once using Search and the likes. But no go.. I a;ready asked a techie and all he said that I have to do is what I mentioned above... so any suggestions. (While I'm typing this it already appeared several times interrupting me..)
