the virus is a trojan horse (vshost2.exe). i tried using Norton but it said it cant repair it : (

I tried connecting to the Internet the other day but failed. Could it be the virus?

And my pc has used up a lot of memory recently. Could it be the virus?

I installed in my pc, here in home. "version 10"
now!, Can I check my machine from other places ?
like for ejp: staying in my friend house, and iusing his PC with the intention to go into my home PC.
I read that you can do that form your office or so!, but I don't have any office. I just need the aplication to get into my PC when I'm away!.

Can someone help me please. Recently when I want to download files I get a message saying "Your current settings do not allow this file to be downloaded".

How do I stop this from happening because I am completely stuck as I need to download a couple of files fairly soon.

I have Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer if this helps with the answers, I am fairly new to computers so not totally computer illiterate.

I have found that the McAfee firewall is really not that wonderful, and my free trial is getting ready to expire. I would like to know if there is another firewall that I can download that is hopefully free and will last longer than 30 days. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
