are we free to surf what may be considered "adult" sites, (NOTHING involving children)and have our cache contain "key" words w/o fear of being arrested? if deleted material truly isn't deleted from the hard drive, is there a way to clean it? does it have to cost a fortune? has anyone-other than me- ever received a notice upon opening the browser, that they are being monitered and are at "high risk"? possibly, this notice could've been a hoax, because it did contain a link to a software download that would clean my computer, (for $100) i DO NOT engage in what i believe is illeagal activity.

By "mission critical", I mean that it would be dangerous or expensive if the computer failed, eg: a computer being used during a surgical operation, or to serve an important website.

I'm looking especially for "official" or well-recognised minimum standards, rather than just people's opinion about what would be a good idea to have.

I use AVG as a virus scan and there are about 50 infected files on my pc. Most of them are system files and a couple are executables. About 15 are dll files, and I feel uncomfortable about deleting those because it could really be messin with the engine. All AVG does is restrict them to the 'virus vault' but can't heal the files. And the thing is, the exe file of a game is infected but I play that game all the time. The only difference I've noticed on my pc is a lot of pop ups. What should I do ??

Someone is wanting to steal my yahoo account. Does anyone know a way to stop them from doing so. They have takens others that I know of already. I have repeatedly changed my password hoping it will give me time. Reporting them will not do any good they can just get a new name if yahoo does anything at all. I have already done so anyways. Please serious answers only!!!
