i had the vista cd in the drive and turned on the computer and i booted from the cd. and i continued to install vista i noticed it said that if i continue to install vista all my programs will get deleted i didnt have a problem with that so i continued. When the installation was complete, and i turned on my computer none of my hardware was being detected , such as my sound card, wireless card, my modem. is there a way to make my hardware visible agian because now i cant acess the internet and listen to music... help please

I am doing a powerpoint presentation and i would like a timer to show how much time has elapsed during my presentation. I have found one link however it requires me to re-set it everytime I re-start the slide show...I would like one that stays on there continuasly and that wont need any internet conncetion as I am transferring it onto my laptop which has no internet connection at all.

no answer at all. I had asked her on monday to confirm it was white and not the titanium model and she responded with white but that was the last I heard. Ive asked her to tell me if it was shipped and which method was used. Should I just be patient as she hasnt answered in 5 days and wait until 10 days or so have passed to file non-receipt or keep emailing? I figure if I keep harrassing by email the less she will respond and might not even send it if she hasnt. What would you do?

i cant use any portable devices, can use cds but running linux from cd ,i wont be able to save my work on it . is there a server where i can log in and work on linux.

I really want to download some beautiful animated screensavers like the ones from http://www.freeze.com for Mac, but I haven't been able to find a website where I can download them from.

I would really appreciate a link to a website, if you know of one. Or is there perhaps a way to download one of the screensavers and make it work with my mac?

Hi. I'm building my first web page ever - total newb, I know - and I may want to publish / add stuff to my root directory using ftp. Angelfire didn't give me an ftp address when I signed on, though, and the help section seems quite lifeless. Anyone know how I can figure out or create my ftp address?

I dont want the receiver to know what time my email was sent. I changed my regional time zone on my laptop but this only changed the time for me on my laptop. The USA time was still in the receivers inbox! Can the time be changed, altered, deleted?

Most of the time when I get a call on my cordless phone I lose my wireless connection. The wireless router and the phone base are not even 3 feet away from each other but the phone base is hanging on one side of a wall, and the wireless router is on the other side. Is it just coincidence? My router is about 3-4 years old if not more.

Well i bought a desktop from dell am i am wondering will i get it today and can they come anytime?? obviously not in the middle of the night. i got somethings its around 12 but can i get it around say 5ish 6 depends or is there a strict limit on what time i get it? 5ish 6 is just an example. she says her husband died in a civil war but he has 12 mill in bonds that she can't get to unless I give her my full name and contact number. This is a scam right?
