i had the vista cd in the drive and turned on the computer and i booted from the cd. and i continued to install vista i noticed it said that if i continue to install vista all my programs will get deleted i didnt have a problem with that so i continued. When the installation was complete, and i turned on my computer none of my hardware was being detected , such as my sound card, wireless card, my modem. is there a way to make my hardware visible agian because now i cant acess the internet and listen to music... help please

You are stuck, you need to download teh drivers on another PC with internet, put on a CD and then install the drivers, provided your make/model of PC/board has Vista support, else you are back to square one.

check your system has the correct drivers to run vista. its its older then 6 months the chances are you wont be able to

reinstall XP

go online and get those drivers by going to the manufactures website and they should have it
and for your modem contact your isp they will know what to do
