no answer at all. I had asked her on monday to confirm it was white and not the titanium model and she responded with white but that was the last I heard. Ive asked her to tell me if it was shipped and which method was used. Should I just be patient as she hasnt answered in 5 days and wait until 10 days or so have passed to file non-receipt or keep emailing? I figure if I keep harrassing by email the less she will respond and might not even send it if she hasnt. What would you do?

Okay, this is also for others who think they shouldn't "push".

It is good customer service to reply to any queries relating to a done deal. Once the contract was made (the moment you won the auction), it is your responsibility to pay what's expected and it is the seller's responsibility to have had informed you of the process and carry out their part of the contract.

Once you pay for an item, whether it be at a retail store or online ... you have every right to know of any progress of the product being sent to you.

Good communication is good customer service.

Whilst I don't recommend you emailing the seller as many times as you can, I do suggest you write them a genuine email stating the nature of your concern and that you would appreciate a reply to let you know of any progress. I would also suggest you ask them to understand your position as it is a lot of money to have to pay for no or little response.

I also do agree about getting a tracking number which I believe should be a requirement for any shipping of valuable items.

I have had this problem before and have myself, done what I've advised you. Once I sent the email, I got a response ASAP with genuine understanding from the seller's part and I felt re-assured.

Just remember everyone ... when you pay for something, it's already yours whether you have it in your possession or not, and it is your right as the customer to know - if possible - the whereabouts of it etc.

If you've paid for something and you "push" on the grounds that you're not satisfactorily informed, and the seller decides to not complete their side of the transaction, that is a breech of the contract and you are entitled to a reimbursement and they are at risk of bad feedback,

Cheers

Yeah that's a bit tricky... I agree the more you push, the less likely the seller will comply with expediting your purchase. My advice would be to contact the seller one more time requesting the tracking number, if she does not comply I would suggest contacting the fraud department.
Just a suggestion, in the future you may want to look into using a site called buyonit.com... they will be launching in about a month, and have taken measures to prevent instances such as these. For instance, they will not release payment to the seller until the buyer receives the item... furhtermore such as your case, if the seller say the item is White and it turns out to be Titanium... your payment will not be released, and the selle will have to pay to have the item shipped back.
In the meantime... good luck with securing your item. I hope she ships it.

My husband and I buy on ebay just ALL the time. Wait for 10 days, and be sure you have the name, address, the number of the laptop as it is advertised, the date it was on ebay, the date you sent money, HOW you sent the money, and if is through Paypal, it should be insured! Be sure that you call paypal if that is how you paid, after the 10 days, and be sure that you do make a claim if it was not received AS it was advertised. I hope it comes. I hope it is exactly what you hoped for! Really! Most Ebay sellers are really nice.

In the first place it hasn't been long enough for her to ship and you to receive! That is unless you live in the same town.

Keep bothering her. It never pays to wait. There's no reason she can't respond to you, so make a pest of yourself until she does.

Ask her for the tracking number, and tell her its because you have to be at home when it arrives. Then you can track it on the web.

I would actually think that you should keep emailing her two times a day. Make her lose her temper and she will reply you.
