The CD will claim that it can hold 700mb. But some is lost to the formatting and driectory information. And not all CD drives will write to the outermost edge of a CD. So the average is between 650 and 680. It will vary by grands of CD and brands of burner. It is safest to plan for 650.

Most Cds can hold 700 MB of data, or 80 minuets of music. If you are looking for more space to put your files, you would need to use a DVD. DVDs can usually hold somewhere around 4.7 GB or 120 minuets of video.

There are very few CD-R s with 800MB storage capacity, but the standard is 700MB.

Nope, look at the CD, you'll see the total max time printed on it. I believe 750 compressed is the most you can get on it.

relies upon on the report length. DVD-R are in many instances bigger than CD-R. Ama would not be responsive to what he/she is asserting. you could burn media records on CD-R as long as they are playable. in the journey that your DVD participant in on your computer, confident, on your PS3, no.
