Most of the time when I get a call on my cordless phone I lose my wireless connection. The wireless router and the phone base are not even 3 feet away from each other but the phone base is hanging on one side of a wall, and the wireless router is on the other side. Is it just coincidence? My router is about 3-4 years old if not more.

Wireless routers work on the 2.4Ghz range. Take a look at your cordless phone base. See if it says 2.4Ghz also. I had this same problem. If the phone base DOES say 2.4Ghz. Get a new corless phone. One that works in the 900Mhz range.

What frequency is being used? You have a collision of airwaves there, it is either 24 Ghz or another band, was it 27?
