My drop-down list of recently accessed websites is no longer being populated. Anyone have any idea why?

I just discovered that my list is only populated by websites where I type in the address, not ones I access by choosing a Favorite. Is this normal?

The history settings have been changed, or the history has been deleted.
If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools>>>Internet Options...
Under the General tab, you should see the History settings at the bottom of that tab. It defaults to 20 days. Sounds like yours were set to 0. You can change it back to whatever you like, and it will begin to remember your websites again.

This is very typical after someone else has used your computer and doesn't want anyone to know where they went online.
