my computer boots normally by showing the windows xp logo with the loading bar then the computer goes black no welcome screen but if i press enter i can hear windows loading there is just no image my video card must be good to get the original image and my LCD monitor is fine it works when connected to my laptop i am using the vga port on the video card the DVI por is empty

I am working with a pc which links to a network. Recently i have been visiting/downloading from restricted websites this is due to work stress. I have a friend who told me that employers will sack their employees for this conduct and they are able to track all visited websites made by their employees from the main server.

I need someone to help me and let me know how do i search and delete these web addresses? Is there anyway i could erase all tracks from the main server from my pc?

I appreciate the help and advice to save me this important job.

I have just moved my pc from one table to another, in doing so i have unconnected the computer. But now i have reset the computer and put the cables back in the right place i have a problem. When i go to switch the computer on the lights appear at the font of the base, but the screens dont register. And there is a beeping noise coming from the computer base. I have tryed to reconnect the computer again but the base still beeps and nothing else happens. Does anybody have any ideas about what i could have done? or how i can get the computer to work properly????

i have a laptop and want to go wireless but i dont want to spend any more than i need to, im in a broadband contract so cant get a router from my provider, what do i need to buy as well as the router? what is the best router to buy for the cheepest amount? do i need to buy seperatly or can i just get an all round starter kit?

For example, I downloaded maplestory. But when ever I click the install icon, there will be this hourglass cursor and after a moment, the hourglass cursor will revert to the normal arrow cursor. Is there anything I can do to download it? Is there a possibility of my computer having a virus?

I installed vista on my laptop last night and i had the drivers disc for my wireless card which is an Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG so i went on intels website and downloaded the drivers and manually installed it (drama drama drama) when it finally installs it does not read any networks in the area and i asked the administration of the wireless and they said yes it works with vista. (AND YES MY WIRELESS IS ON HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE WISE CAUSE I KNOW THATS THE FIRST THING YALL GOING TO SAY)

A class of 20 males and 20 females. I want to draw a scatter graph with BMI on y-axis and % Body Fat along the x-axis and have 2 sets of dots representing girls and boys. Everytime I try to do it, it only comes up with only BMI points marked. Can anyone help please? It's driving me mad. I found a website that has the exact kind I want at bottom page 5 ;

ie: ive watched region 1 and region 2 films and i just assumed my computer functioned like a multi-region dvd player.

now when i try to play a non uk dvd....a pop-up tells me ive reached the maximum number of changes.

can anyone explain this situation.

is there something i can do to return my computer to being able to play any dvd?

I selected the images copied and pasted them from the folder on my computer opened to the cd folder. they are on the cd now but they are whited out and seperated from the files already on the cd
files ready to be written to cd/files currently on the cd.

so how do I write them on the cd do I just click something?

Whenever I try to open a javascript web link the like doesn’t open. How can if fix this problem?

It's not just games and applet stuff, its more websites that use it as a pop up link that I need to access that i can't.

I also keep getting messages about stack overflows....

I think it may have something to do with the registry... if anyone knows how to fix this or can direct me to someone who does, it would be very appreciated.

it always there i dont know where it came from even when playing music you can still here it. its like click- click.the only way for me to get rid of it is turning the speakers off.it sounds like a old record player at the end of the record.i hope you know what i mean.thank you.
