I have backed up files to an external hard drive and to drive 'd' on my computer. I now want to add to these files (favorites I have added since the backup, for instance). Will the drives automatically only back up new stuff or is there something I must do to make this happen?

whenever I download a port scanner/sniffer, e.t.c., all that does is tell me what ports are opened on MY ip address. But what if I want to know what ports are opened on ANOTHER ip address? Is there a way to do this? I am NOT trying to hack, I am just trying to telnet to another computer, but I can't access it directly. So does anyone know if there is a website you can go to or a program you can download where you can enter an IP address and it will tell you what ports are opened on that IP address?

I have windows 2000 and do not want to upgrade to XP. Can I just purchase a disc from a retailer like Best Buy and slip it in the "D" drive, then follow prompts? I've never had to do this but I keep getting error messages that this files missing or that files corrupted. Just want to know if it is a simple process or complicated undertaking!
Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know of a website where you can load pics of you and your significant other to find out what your baby may look like? I know it's one but I forgot the name of it.

And please refrain from the smart comments.

I have a specific issue...each time i send something to my friend's email address using Outlook. I always get a 'Deliver Status Notification (Failure)' for the email sent. I always confirm with the recipient and he always confirms that he never recieves anythign from my Outlook.

Surprisingly, if I use my Yahoo account to send the email the email goes through...This has made me scratch my head countless times as I work in an IT firm and I could not solve this.

The error message comes as:
Reporting-MTA: dns;hesa01uker.he.local
Received-From-MTA: dns;c2bthomr11.btconnect.com
Arrival-Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2007 15:46:26 +0000

Final-Recipient: rfc822;jean_smith@btconnect.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.4.6
X-Display-Name: Jean Smith
-------------------

My guess was whenever I send him something using Outlook, the email is sent to another email address that is registered in BTconnect, but I have purged my address and have verified the properties of the email address. Any ideas?

Yes I am trying to fix one of my friends computers. When I turn it on it comes up with a screen saying restore my active desk top. When I click to do that it doesn't change. When I try to click on internet explorer or anything else on the computer this is what comes up? Explorer has caused an error in browseui.dll Explorer will now close. If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer. I have restarted the computer and the same thing happens every time. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong and how I can fix it? Thanks
