logitech quickcam fusion, is permanently on. i cant turn it off from the task bar or anywhere i see as the obvious places, it automaticallylights up as if to film/capture image as i turn on pc, what could be upsetting it?

just disconnect it from your pc. problem solved. all cams are USB connections now a days. this type of connection is hot swapable, meaning it does NOT require a restart to re connect. just plug it back in.

shut down the computer remove the webcam cable then put that back in then put the computer back on

try unplugging the webcam, uninstalling it, doing a system restore...if all else fails back up your files and reinstall windows
