Mac's - mainly because they are not prone to viruses like PC, and are just better in general

I was raised on a Mac so I'm a bit partial. However I will give you the pro's and con's of a Mac.
Pro: Pretty easy to use, has only had one virus written for the system so far, Mac now includes many cool programs.
Con: Not many stores sell Mac friendly programs, a lot of internet sites don't like Mac's (especially videos), doesn't come with a manual, people will actually look at you weird when you say you use a Mac.
I love my Mac and am happy with the Mac OS X I use.

I always had Windows, but when I met my boyfriend he introduced me to MAC and I like it. Once you get a Mac you will then know why alot of people hate windows. So go get a Mac.

One is not specifically better than the other for home use. They are both just fine for any home. I have both in my house, however I only use my MAC. I just can't stand Windows anymore.
