Whenever I try to open a javascript web link the like doesn’t open. How can if fix this problem?
It's not just games and applet stuff, its more websites that use it as a pop up link that I need to access that i can't.
I also keep getting messages about stack overflows....
I think it may have something to do with the registry... if anyone knows how to fix this or can direct me to someone who does, it would be very appreciated.

I definately have the latest version of Java. I'm running IE 7 and Windows XP.
I think its the windows registry thats the problem though.

Please note that It's JAVASCRIPT i'm having the most problems with.
Java and Javascript are NOT the same thing.

IE7 could be a problem to run javacript.

IF you are use IE7, that might be the problem. on of the security settings would continuously block javascript. It could also be a pop-up blocker.

I think this is due to the unappropriate jdk version java launcher. or mostly like u have told also check the registration of the jdk version.

try internet options, it could be that java is disabled!!!
also it's very unlikly to be the regestary as it is automatically searched when you logon!

have you up dated your java lately? if not g to java.com and do an up grade. hopefully that will work
