Hey I've already installed a trial version Vista Ultimate on my PCs and now trying to figure out how to convert it from trial version to a registered one without purchasing any activation/serial keys..Does anyone know how..? Some friends of mine used to run on trial version but somehow they managed to obtained their activation/serial keys without purchasing any and now their Window Vista status has been activated and no longer running on trial.. How is that possible..? Don't we need to register and purchase the activation key in order to activate our Vista OS...

I use windows XP and Mozilla is my browser. Is there any efficient way to make backup copies of my bookmarks? The only way I can figure out how to do it is to copy and paste each individual link into a word document, then later Id have to click on each separate link individually and then re bookmark them. Also, are bookmarks actual files located somewhere on my hard drive, and if so where would I locate them. I can't seem to find them

I am asking this question very abstractly.

If you work in the big corporates in the IT industry, you need to be very proficient and skilled in your IT knowledge. For example, if you work in Yahoo, you must not only be highly qualified, you must also be highly skilled.

However, if you work in more remote places, such as the Mid West or smaller towns, do you still need to be that highly skilled to get employment? For example, if you specialise in networks, do you need to know advanced routing or even telecommunications in these places to find a job? Do you even need to have your CCNA before you secure your job?

It loads for a long time and when it finishes loading it freezes and turns off. I might get it to work but after turning computer off and turning it back on the same problem it doesn't work.

All of a sudden something in my network setup(locally on my computer only my laptop still works fine) i found that applications such as xfire, itunes, online games(when accessing internet based pages) cant access the internet. I can still access http through firefox, but when i try to go to itunes store it says unexplainable error that itunes couldn't connect to the internet. i've got my firewall off(i tried putting it on with the applications ive been having problems with as exeptions but that didn't work either) does anyone know what setting might have been changed to cause this? THANKS!!

My last question:
"My friend's sis did something but she has no idea what... The pages are all white (no colour), text size is HUGE (and i know how to normally change THAT), words cover other words, my yahoo toolbar is gone.
Plus, there is no audio, opened the Audio And Device Properties and i can't get to any "advanced" button, they're all grey... "Hardware" says every device is working properly. But then it also says "no audio device"...
And the desktop background is gone, too. It's one of the windows one's now.
All these things happened together so i'm guessing they're related.

Help! (: "

i was suggested to do a system restore but nothing changed. It's still the same.

Hey. I just recently bought a Mac, so I'm not very familiar with all the ins and outs just yet.
My mac came with 2 installation discs. Disc one (as it mentions) is for installing all of the iLife applications and for OSX itself.
Now, it has no mention whatsoever on what disc 2 is for. I've read everything! I have no clue what disc 2 is for. Can someone plase help me out, please.

I went to file >> identities>>manage identities>> and tried to remove it but it still needs a password. I don't remember it! How can I delete it? There is no info in the OE help. Does anyone have a clue? I don't want to do system restore b-cus I have too much important stuff on my computer.

I am currently doing my masters in information security. it just occured to me that it might be good to do something in networking as it can help break ground into the networking industry.

For the last two days, my computer has been spazzing out on me. The text on the screen is at the largest setting possible. I try to change it, it might stay that way for a second or so, then switch back to the way it was. And while trying to type something, all of a sudden any one of a variety of screens will pop up as if a hotkey had been pressed. It might be the history screen, the run screen, or it might just change pages altogether. And if I click on the scroll bar to drag it and scroll down the page it keeps shifting back and forth to the top of the page really fast. I have to click on the down arrow to scroll down one line at a time to get it to work right. I cant figure out why it started doing this unless a trojan slipped past the Mcafee Total Protection Package. Oh, I'm running windows XP Home Edition
