All of a sudden something in my network setup(locally on my computer only my laptop still works fine) i found that applications such as xfire, itunes, online games(when accessing internet based pages) cant access the internet. I can still access http through firefox, but when i try to go to itunes store it says unexplainable error that itunes couldn't connect to the internet. i've got my firewall off(i tried putting it on with the applications ive been having problems with as exeptions but that didn't work either) does anyone know what setting might have been changed to cause this? THANKS!!

Wow.. sounds to me like a bunch of ur apps either just got corrupted or worst yet, u might have a virus or some viruses.. better update ur virus scan and dl spyware removal program as well and do scan on ur entire pc. If neither still doesnt solve ur issues then simply reinstall those corrupted programs again. Cheers!

make certain on each computer you're sharing a minimum of one folder. Open "My computer", correct click "Shared Folder" and choose "Sharing". enable sharing on both and this can actually help. Remembering the passwords is likewise major.
