I have no idea why it started doing this in the first place, but the bar/menu at the top of IE7 now auto-hides and only comes down when you put the cursor up top. Then it slides down and you can access the menu/drop down menu where you enter web addresses into.

I'd much rather have it static at the top so you can always see it. I've gone over every button, every option, and I cannot figure out how to change it back.

I neeeeeed help!

This only seems to happen when typing an email. It happened before, then stopped; ~ but now it has started again......and it is absolutely impossible to go back and insert anything, the way one normally can.

Have I done something to cause this? I am still rather new at learning all the idiosycrasies a computer can have. It is SOOOOO frustrating!

Does anyone have any ideas what to do......or what NOT to do, please? (before I go stark raving mad and start ripping my hair out......I had forgotten how many swear words I knew...!) Thank you.

Basically i want to connect via "Network Connections" Not The Netzero Software
The reason for this is .. so when my connection drops it will auto-reconnect.. Netzero's has auto-reconnect but you have to click "ok" everytime before it reconnects.

Help?

okay, so all of those p2p file sharing programs are like being watched and some federal company is cracking down on them, i have searched google and yahoo, they told me to go thru my limewire tools>options> and uncheck this and set that to 0, once i have done that, can i download music w/o getting busted?

ok like when i messed up i hit the backspace and put in the right letter and like then the letter in front of it dissapeared and its weird and i have to doulbe space it and when i went back to double space it it just dissapeared does anyone kno how to make it stop?

I pressed the button as usual - nothing. Then went to My Computer, selected the CD drive and tried "eject" on Properties in the drop down menu. Nothing Switched off computer and then back on again and still nothing. Tried updating driver but no update available.Have a tower CPU with only one CD drive.Help!!!!

Posted this question yesterday and had responses that unfortunately didn't work because I couldn't find the program in the registry editor. This is where it's supposed to be but I didn't see it HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
Microsoft Update Machine=winupdt.exe

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices\
Microsoft Update Machine=winupdt.exe

I've navigated to Run\RunServices but not found winupdt.exe. What am I doing wrong? Kaspersky is up to date but has not found the worm.

when i go to start up my computer, i get this blue screen and it basically tells me to check for viruses and unplug any newly installed hardware(i had just my webcam, so i unplugged it) any way, can someone please tell me how to fix this? thanks (PS- im on my friends computer, so please dont leave smart remarks...thanks!)

I installed the vista. and when I restare the computer everything runs smoothly, but after a while i use computer, and i play music, it sounds choppy and sometime the video runs slow. I have the right drivers installed, as well.
does anyone else has this problem?

I have four files that will not delete, execute, rename, copy or move. I tried the safe mode, and they still will not delete. I never had this problem with any files. I have Windows XP. Please help.

is there any way to just install the "hub manager" in the bt total broadband software installation
i ask this because i would like the hub manager as its got some useful info but the rest of the bt software is not needed,it slows down my p.c and is not needed

I don't know why it does this and when I try to restore my computer to an earlier time, system restore states that it cannot restore my computer to the time that I picked. Can anyone help me? Otherwise, my computer works fine.
