okay, so all of those p2p file sharing programs are like being watched and some federal company is cracking down on them, i have searched google and yahoo, they told me to go thru my limewire tools>options> and uncheck this and set that to 0, once i have done that, can i download music w/o getting busted?

uhm, don't be so worried. I think its just a scare tactic the federal company use. I do not know of anyone who has ever got in trouble for downloading music through limewire. I'm pretty sure the unchecking in the tools >options is to stop it automatically uploading your songs.

simple solution:

stop using limewire!!!

why do people still use that network? Its so OLD!
the human network is much safer and much more efficient. Trade with your friends up close and personal... burn them a cd of your favorite mp3s... they give you a cd of theirs, that simple! No downloading involved, no RIAA on your tail.
