You could either press the insert button or fix it my way. I press enter then type add whichever letter missing and then press backspace on the letters I entered. For example, if I were typing google and typed gogle then I'd do this: press enter for the gle add the o to the go then hit backspace for the gle. And you have google! Hope that helps! The best of luck!

On the bottom of the screen there is a status bar. Where it says Page 1 Sec 1 1/1.... There should be letters on the same bar as following- REC, TRK, EXT, OVR. OVR should be highlighted. Click or double click on the letters OVR, once its unhighlighted, your problems are no more.

Sounds like you may have accidentally hit the insert button. Whenever I hit that key on accident it makes all kinds of letters disappear. Just click the insert key again to make it stop.

You probably have the insert button on. On your keyboard you have an insert button. On word look on the bottom and see if you can see and word like OVR. If it is bold then you have it on. If it isn't then you don't have it on. Then i don't know what is wrong. But good luck!!!
Or try saving it then restart your computer.

if you make an error when typing, using the backspace button does not make the letter disappear, it merely moves the cursor backwards. Should you wish to amend a word, use the delete button instead.
