As others have said, they don’t think, simply compare 0s or 1s...

Mathematically, no, a computer can destroy a human at arithmetic, they can literally to millions of complex calculations a second (hence why we have calculators). But for tasks which we find simple, like recognising a face, or walking and not falling over every three seconds, then yes, much, much faster. Humans and computers are completely different, they do some things better and we do some things better.

the answer is YES humans think faster than computers. however, thats because computers dont THINK, they are not alive! they [computers]crunch numbers. now, can a human crunch numbers as fast as a computer? the answer is no, of course not! on the other hand, the human brain PROCESSES waaaayyyy more than any modern computer can dream of, concurrently processing perfect color vision, sound, thoughts, speaking, touch, smell, etc, in resolutions computers cant even dream of! there are just some things a computer cant do right now... such as interpret sarcasm, understand the punch line of a joke, be selfaware, etc, that still makes the human brain a far more powerful "computer" than anything else we know of... so, even the slowest human brain, in the scheme of things, is far more advanced than any computer on the planet, as of this moment.... except for *maybe* some unknown top secret military computers?? (who knows)

yes and no the computer calculates thousand of things a second but if you told it to do a sum and u didn't tell it how to find the answer the human being would be quicker be cause the computer would keep searching through its data Base to find a match in short 3+3 could be 7 in a computers system but in most peoples brain it = 6 (yes)

The brain certainly functions faster, your brain can interpret signals from your eyes and discern about a billion colours, whilst processing inputs from your ears and working out where sounds are coming from by the difference in volume whilst regulating your heartbeat and managing your body temperature and keeping you upright whilst walking and retaining huge amounts of memories and sensing your temperature from all over your body whilst keeping you alive. So yeah the brain is way faster than any computer, as for thnking some people haven't quite mastered that one yet :)

Computers can't think so the human wins every time.

Remember, the computer will do what you tell it to do. They are robots pure and simple. They don't have independent thought.

Computers aren't really capable of creative thought so the comparison isn't really valid. When it comes down to computation, the processing of numbers the computer will usually win hands down.

In a lot of ways Yes, but mathematically...no..with the exception of Quantum computing.

well... computers don't think. they just sift through information that is already in there hard drive when you ask a question.

and that is way quicker than any human being...
so in answer to your question: no.
