I have no idea why it started doing this in the first place, but the bar/menu at the top of IE7 now auto-hides and only comes down when you put the cursor up top. Then it slides down and you can access the menu/drop down menu where you enter web addresses into.

I'd much rather have it static at the top so you can always see it. I've gone over every button, every option, and I cannot figure out how to change it back.

I neeeeeed help!

So far, both answers you've gotten have not really addressed your problem, which is IE7. The previous answer said to get Firefox. My answer is to get rid of IE7 until it is a lot more stable, which won't be for months yet, Microsoft is still tweaking Vista. However, this is my suggestion: Uninstall IE7 by clicking on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and the Show Updates box at the top. When the list loads, find Internet Explorer 7 and click Yes to remove it. After removal, close Control Panel and restart the computer for the change to take effect.

Your other recourse is to call the Internet Explorer 7 Support Number: 1-866-234-6020, Monday-Friday 5 am-9pm Pacific Standard time Saturday-Sunday 6 am-3 pm Pacific Standard time

★★ MICROSOFT PRODUCT DISCUSSION GROUPS ★★

◙ Here are hundreds of Discussion Groups for Microsoft products such as Internet Explorer, Outlook, Outlook Express and the list goes on and on. There is even a discussion group for the new Internet Explorer 7 beta.

◙ You'll need to signup for an MSN Passport Account to use these groups. But it's really worth your time. You'll receive better help here than anywhere. But if you didn't pay for the product it might be smart not to mention it here. If you want help that is.

Uninstall IE 7 and download Mozilla Firefox 2.0. IE 7 will not give any further problems.
