Normally it`s nice and fast but lately the computer is so slow what`s the problem please point out some reasons and what can i do.

For example: going into IE7, clicking on Tools, internet options - there is the box. How can I embed this into emails etc. "as is"? Is there a way or can't it be done?

Hi there. Cousin (a computer tech) sold me brand new computer with ME installed. He sold me brand new oem version of Windows XP on 5 disk set with it. It has never been used on any computer at all. Cousin went overseas (Middle East), and is unavailable for questions. I have since decided to install XP over ME. Noticing now that product key is missing from packaging. This is a good copy, totally fresh, never used. OEM (says 'to be sold with new PC only', or something similar).
Is there a way to scan the disc for product key? Will I have to buy a new key? If so, how much does a new key cost, and who do you buy it from if the OS is OEM? Thanks.

Sometimes he says some pretty weird things and everybody believes in what he says like if it was "the law". He talked about an iPhone (which they don't even have the name yet) that has less features that some Motorola phones now and costs twice as much but even so the press follows him religiously. Now with the music thing too. Why?

I recently ordered a laptop with Windows Vista on it. Will my computer games that run on Windows 95,98 or XP run on Windows Vista?? I sure hope so otherwise I will really regret getting Windows Vista

With XP does the recycle bin delete all the way or does it just erase from sight and leave a trace and does it over time take up a large amount on your HDD?

My Gateway is 2 years old. It's working really slow from the time I turn it on. I've defragged it, run several virus scans, and my internet is ridiculously slow. I'm in the sticks of SC and can't get DSL without spending an arm and a leg. I have tried NetZero, Earthlink and Netscape and they are all very slow even with acceleration. Any suggestions on how to make it run faster. I still have 90% memory available. I'm so frustrated, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I mailed my money order on Jan. 25th. Seller marked payment recieved on Jan. 29th. Was supposed to ship priority mail and I am still waiting on my item. I have emialed this person twice and no responce. I looked at their profile today and it says they are not longer a registered member. What do I do now?

I use Sonic record now because it doesnt save the files to my computer like windows media does. The problem is is that it either wont burn a disc, or it takes like 5 times to burn it. Can anyone help me? It never burns the first time. It writes a disc, then i put in a blank one, and it says that there was an error and retry. I usually have to try it 3-5 times. Any suggestions?

My company's Exchange 5.5 server is setup with the domain company-X.com, but recently has changed it to company.net. We are attempting to move everyones mailboxes so they receive at the new address.
One employee now can receive outside mail to emp@company-X.com, but only one internal computer can send to emp@company-X.com, and no one can send to emp@company.net.The message is:

It seems like a reoccurring theme that any time your computer gets faster, applications suck up more CPU time without giving you much more output. As network bandwidth increases, web pages waste more of it for high-bandwidth advertisement.

Is there a generic term or concept to describe the phenomenon?

yo people.

I am usaly very good with fixing interent and stuff, i have overcome a rather tricky one, on my computer. it randomly and suddenly just wouldnt connect anymore, and every time i connect it says unable to conect with a completly different problem each time. I have got a linksys router (i brought a rubbish1) lol. i really dont understand, because i tryed connecting to my naibours router and they have no wep key so i can connect but it seems like i can not connect to anything wireless. it started yesterday, then it sorted it self out, but now it really wont work, (well till now) Help!

Ive noticed sometimes the little ball on my mouse seems to stick sometimes. It doesnt actually stay in one place but it quits moving the screen up and down when I need it to. I have to mess with it a little bit for it to start working again. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?

I usually log on to msn and or yahoo...it seems like they are fighting for attention, because somedays msn cannot connect and then others yahoo?...right now msn wont open, anybody got any ideas to why?...thanks
