I am running linux debian at home.. i'm getting dsl sometime in the near future.. the router they are sending is linksys 6520 is this really hard to set up?

I wasn't able to find a Linksys 6520, so I assume you mean the SpeedStream 6520. All you should have to do on your Debian box is make sure that your ethernet interface is set as a DHCP client.

I don't think it would be hard to setup. All you really need to do is plug in the internet wire and then hook it into your computer. If you're wireless, you would need an internet card unless you have one built in.
