I just bought a new computer a few weeks ago. I have already registered the software. I went to the website of the manufacturer, and saw "product registration", with a specific section for registering your computer. It prompts you for the date that you purchased it, and the serial number. Should I register it? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?

the sound recorder has only 60 seconds recording. please help. realradio has this facility for recording but it is 'pay' facility. must be free somewhere. its no great shake to record audio surely.

I viewed videos that I guess I shouldn't have at home and now I can't clear the memory. I tried deleting cookies, temp files and history through the tools/internt options but that didn't work.

I have DSL and every once in a while... maybe twice a day, I will get a pop up message stating that "ipwins.exe" has occured a problem and will shut down immediatly... I dont know what this is... I have also had "b116.exe", "b103.exe" and "b122.exe" do this. I dont know much about software but someone suggested i diconnect my internet and then find and deleate these files... i have but they still somehow get back onto my computor. I do not download anything, and ever since I have had these boxes popping up I have also had AD's randomly popping up on my computor screen, even when I am not using anything to do with internet. They get very annoying, and usually relate to ringtones or smileys. I dont know what to do... We have the free version of AGV but it doesnt seem to find anything wrong. What should I do?

How do I stop the annoying computer beeping noise? Say I accidently click on something un-clickable, or press a key where there's no textbox, and that annoying BEEP noise sounds. How do I get rid of that? I have Windows XP, if that helps.

whenever I restart my computer, it asks for a password...before it was the windows xp screen where i clicked my name and typed it in but then i didnt want to have to do that so I went into control panel and deleted my password...but guess what..it still asks for it...i've tried everything, changed the password, backspaced it, etc so now i have to just enter a blank password and press ok (now it is like a box that pops up not the xp screen)...how do I fix this it's so annoying!
