There are plenty of saved restore points but each time I get an error message saying the system could not be restored and no settings have been changed. The system restore callendar will not allow me to go back more then a month.

Whenever I watch any videos on youtube, the video will always stop halfway and ask whether I want to share or watch again. It's got worst now, I only get to watch for 1 sec and it happens. I've tried everything, downloading the videos that I want to watch, install the latest flash, quicktime, shockwave,internet explorer, refreshing the page, subscribing to user, add to favourite, add to quicklist, send to friend, installing K-Lite Codec pack with windows media player classic but it still won't work! Please help. I've send a lot of e-mails to youtube about this problem but they never replied.

Nearly all my downloaded videos decided to stop working recently, every time I attempt to open them on various media players, I get the message, or variations on the message: 'This is not a movie file', or 'bad command of volume control' or something. They ARE movie files, why has my computer suddenly decided they're not? And how do I fix it?

When I went to hotmail from foxfire, all (thousands) of drafts and sent messages read like this

I am so sorry that you had to go through all that. It must have been very scary. I was 39 when I first got it. I didn't have to do chemo which they say is a nightmare.
I forgot to tell you a few things (I know I am overwhelming you with info)

All emails read like this now with all this jibberish in them which is HTML format instead of the normal way making them all useless and impossible to use.
They work if I open them on IE. somehow html text editor got clicked and now all messages in hotmail are in this format...ruining them all,. Also when I go to file when composing a message, there is no way to use fonts, sizes, and colors but there is when using IE.

Some have suggested I change the file type in the drop down, however I cant do that because the only option it gives me is the bitmap option, nothing else not even *all file types. On my old pc a picture would automatically save as a gif or jpeg or whatever it was originally posted as...on this new pc I cant get anything but bitmap even when the images are animated and obviously a gif file type. Is there a setting somewhere that I have to change? I dont understand why Im not getting any other options in my drop down file menu.

I had a problem in hotmail messages showing as HTML text and nothing helped. This only happened when I used foxfire..but when I used IE all was readable and fine.
So I uninstalled foxfire and then reinstalled the latest version..but problem still there..so I did a system resote 2 days back. When it was done I clicked on firefox (I reinstall again and did older version BTW) and go the message foxfore needs to close it has encountered a problem,..you may lose unsaved data. So I tried it again..same message. I tried it a dozen times still the same so then I did a 2nd system restore gong back 4 daus..when I clicked on deskltop icon foxfire, I got the same foxfire need to close encountered problem..again goes this message several times. I cannot get on the internet when using foxfire..What's going on..why did it not restore it to before when it was fine..How can I use foxfire to get on the internet..why won't it let me & what should I do now..be easy to understand as I'm pretty new

I am having a problem with the visualizations. They work and everything, but when I click on "view full screen," I still see the black strip at the bottom with the "play, stop" and other buttons. I also notice that the visualizations aren't running as smoothly as they did before the update. (I didn't update this by choice, it was done automatically.) I'm thinking that if that black strip with the buttons wasn't there the visualizations would run as smoothly as they did once before. Is there some way I can remedy this? Or am I stuck with this? ...Help!
