This is the second time this has happened and it's really annoying! Task manager pops up at random. Under processes is a long list of 'taskmgr.exe'. The computer freezes up, and I can't close task manager or anything else I have open. The start menu and the keyboard do not work, so I end up turning my computer off with the power button. When I start it back up it's fine. It's a Gateway tablet with XP, a little over a year old.

I have a sansa and I'm getting so aggravated because whatever form videos from like youtube and google are in...i cant seem to convert them on my sansa media converter to put them on my sansa...I'm confusing myself just asking the question. the sansa media converter says that the supported file types for conversion are AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD (.VOB), QUICKTIME MOV, AND WMV. How would a get, say, a youtube video into one of those forms? or is there another video site that has videos in this form? Im just not computer intelligent, I just dont get it.

I have braodband and it usually runs at 2.2 Kbps but it's being very slow and running at 576.0 Kbps, I've not downloaded anything recenlty it's happened suddely. Any ideas what I can try to get it normal?

my computer is a HP, it is very slow, so I tried to restore it to another date, it wont restore to an earlier time. I uninstalled some things, one screensaver though, wont uninstall. When you start up, there are 2 icons, one with my name and one with my son's.
When i go under my name, is where I have all the trouble. I have the most stuff on mine. My son's is fine. It won't restore to an earlier time either. I have Norton security. I don't know what's going on... Help

Hello there fellow people, I have windows XP SP2 installed on my laptop.
I want to know how I could change the username of my system(i'm not talking about the login name or account names). I know that my computer has a my name in it. and i dont feel right whenever i connect online and knows that there can be possibility that some people could see the name on my computer.

How can i change that name??
