Not a good idea Sammy. Certainly run Disk Cleanup in system tools but stop there. If you need more space, try burning your pics, vids, & music to dvds or cds.
Otherwise buy and install a bigger hard drive as slave to store your stuff on.

You can delete ones that start with "$NtUninstallKB..."
This files are old version of files replaced with security/bug patches.
The more efficient way to gain some space is to remove all previous system restore points (if computer is working properly), and make new one.
how to do that : start -programs-system tools-disk cleanup-
more options- system restore " clean up" button.
You can also consider buying an external USB hard drive , and move your movies, music and other big files to it.
And you can uninstall programs that you don't use but do not just delete folders, use "Add/Remove programs" from Control Panel

You can't delete anything in c:\Windows. All the files there are needed by the system. If you want more disk space, look elsewhere, like programs you no longer use, games you no longer play, or better yet, get an external hard drive.

i wouldn't delete anything in that folder. if you are running xp you can run disk cleanup, then remove unnecessary programs. then go to my computer, right click on your hard drive, properties, then click compress disk to save space, let the thing run, it might take awhile. then after it is done, go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, disk defragmenter, this should free up a pretty good amount of space.
