How do u get rid of file transfer protocol?

My friend cant use his internet or anything to do with the internet and it keeps coming up with ftp ?

FTP isn't something to "get rid of". It's a way of transferring files from one computer to another. It doesn't have anything to do with preventing you from using the internet.

What do you mean when you say "it keeps coming up with ftp"? What keeps coming up? Where? The more specific you are, the more people can help you.
