assureprotection is on my pc and is driving me nuts iv'e tryed everything to get it off, please do'es anyone have an answer?!!!

Ive tryed all sorts of virus scans so people who have had this problim b4 should know the answer.

If you've done the usual "Control Panel > add or Remove Programs" and removing it try going to "My Computer > Hard Disk Drive C > Program Files" and seeing if it's there and remove it from there.

i had a problem similiar to that it took about 4 virus/spyware scanners to get it off

It is spyware. I presume assureprotection has set itself as your homepage and you can do nothing to change homepage back to whatever it was?

I would suggest firstly getting a decent anti spyware prog, if you google "anti-spyware free" you will get lots of free applications.

download windows defender from microsoft this removes any malicious softwaer on your computer

you need SmitfraudFix , do option 1 and then restart in safe mode and do option 2.
