This concerns my Windows Media...?

Question

I am having a problem with the visualizations. They work and everything, but when I click on "view full screen," I still see the black strip at the bottom with the "play, stop" and other buttons. I also notice that the visualizations aren't running as smoothly as they did before the update. (I didn't update this by choice, it was done automatically.) I'm thinking that if that black strip with the buttons wasn't there the visualizations would run as smoothly as they did once before. Is there some way I can remedy this? Or am I stuck with this? ...Help!
