I would like to make them unprotected. How can this be done? These songs were purchased in iTunes, fyi

Burn them to a music cd, then re rip them. You should be able to edit those.

OOOOOOR find a program that can record what is playing through your sound card, play your cd, capture the audio, then you can edit those new files.

You can't unprotect them, you have to be a professional to do so.

If you post music on the Internet for a fee and that is the only source for revenue to eat even your food and you find that many sites are gving the song for free, WILL YOU LIKE IT.
