I am from Greece.Mine has only € and $.I think
its normal Americans keyboard not to have your symbol because they dont probably need it.They can use it and all of us can use it by press 2 or 3 keys together(f.e. alt, shift, ctrl e.t.c.).There is no need to have a keyboard full of useless keys.

Hi There,

Is your question "Do american keyboards have both $ and pound KEYS??".

If yes, then Dear what can be displayed, viewed or printed doesnt just depend on the keyboard, It has much to do with the Script you are using. Like, say you do not have a particular symbol key on the keyboard, Yet you can use it by INSERTing Symbol from the list given by default!
Hope this helps.
Take care!
