Assuming it's all legal, you can have any amount of music you want! Your hard drive is the limit ;)

By todays standards no.

Music has been encoded at 128kbit for quite some time now however the quality is substantially less than 256 or 320 alternatives. Most people are ripping at these higher standards these days as storage space becomes more plentiful.

Just a year ago I re-ripped all my music at 256kbit and its the best decision I ever made. The original CD's sound just slightly better. The quality is so similar I barely take the original CDs out to listen to them anymore.

What do you mean? If its legal then its fine I have 33 GB

it depends on how big youre hard drive is and if you realy need all that music.if your computers slow and you havent much space on your hard drive try deleting some or transfering them to cd.if your computer runs faster then it defently was to much

Not sure if I understand what it is that you are asking. If your hard drive is big enough even 50GB of music would be ok.

no, not at all. i have about 40gb of music, and like many other answers you will get will say about the same.
