the sound recorder has only 60 seconds recording. please help. realradio has this facility for recording but it is 'pay' facility. must be free somewhere. its no great shake to record audio surely.

There is also a guide telling you how to make a recording from a cassette, but this would be similar to using a microphone. EXCEPT use the pink MIC input rather than the blue AUX input.

Are you trying to figure out how to record more then 60 seconds of audio?

If so your best bet is to spring for some cheap software. There is some good stuff on the market that will do what you want for cheap. The free stuff always has problems or wants you to upgrade to a costing version.

A bit more info needed.. What type of mic is it, USB or analog? What type of sound card are you using? Realtek cards, for example, actually have a setting to turn up the mic from the "audio out" jacks. (I know, its weird) If it's USB, do you have your input set to that mic specifically and not your sound card?
